Jane lives in Barnoldswick with her husband Roger, they have family living locally and have decided to make this area their forever home.
Jane is an experienced local politician having served on two other County Councils, serving as a Cabinet member for Highways and Waste in her last position. She hopes to put this experience to good use standing up for Pendle Rural to ensure it retains its unique character. Jane feels that the current Labour Government in Westminster are forcing too many changes onto local communities without adequate consultation with residents.
In her spare time Jane is a long standing member of the Womens Institute, she is an accomplished Cookery and Preserves Judge and looks forward to her engagement with the farming community at agricultural shows during the Spring and Summer. She also enjoys dancing for fitness at a nearby dance studio.
